We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing outpatient orthopedic practice. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working with motivated patients, collaborating with a strong clinical team, and seeing real functional outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Lead patients through therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training
- Apply modalities and assist with manual therapy within scope of practice
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the PT
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
- Support clinic flow and maintain a safe, efficient treatment environment
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Nice to Have
- Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience
- Experience with post-operative rehab
- Familiarity with EMR systems
